What I learn’t Last Week
Bit late, but what’s two days between friends right.
So I will start off by saying that Birmingham’s new library is amazing, I never really go to libraries anymore, but if they were like this, I would most definitely go to them, filled with something more than just books and computers from 2004, so if you are in the area, you should check it out for sure, the view alone is worth making your way there.
Someone really needs to buy me this game, I would of bought it myself, but spending £70 on a board game is not something that someone saving up to move down south does, but now that I have told you all that I want one, maybe it will turn up in the post (I wont be waiting by the door though).
Please tell me no one wears this hat!
I found quite a few cool places in 2013, such as this cool church in Liverpool, so this year I need to top it by visiting more places, I already have a few road trips lined up, but I need more cool suggestions, here is where I have planned already;
- High Wycombe
As you can see, I need many more, because what’s life without a little adventure?
This is a surprisingly good book, short, scary and easy enough to read at 3am when your tired but avoiding sleep, as it turns out, there are 8 of them in the series, so now you all know what I shall be doing in the early hours of the morning, when not writing or watching really bad horror films, I could name a few, but as I just gave myself a good idea for a post, I will be saving the naming and shaming of films to a later date (clearly I’m in a rambling mood tonight)
What I will talk about today is that I seemed to of altered my soundtrack, November and December were mainly electro pop bands such as Purity Ring, Half Moon Run and Churves, but January seems to of developed into a combination of late 90’s/mid 00’s pop rock, such as All American Rejects, 3 Doors Down and Lit, as proven by my latest Spotify playlist at the bottom of this post.
On a final note, I have noticed a lot of bloggers signing off with song lyrics, now that isn’t my thing (little bit teenage girl on Tumblrish) so instead I shall put my degree to good use a film line, hey you never know it might take off, (doubt it thought).
