Thorsten Koch clearly loves where he lives, his photography depicts his urban surroundings in a way that makes the German city of Düsseldorf one of my must-visit cities, be it urban decay or the grand buildings of old, Koch’s images show the true beauty of the city and surrounding area, with contrast making up a big part of his work, old with new, run down with cared for or even cold with warm, each producing powerful images.
