The first time I encountered Psyche-punk band La Femme, was in 2012, when they were supporting Maximo Park on their UK tour, this time however, they are headlining.
La Femme are an interesting mixture of punk rock and psychedelic lyrics, which although they are sung in French by the magnificent lead Clémence Quélennec, you can’t help but get caught up in the music and atmosphere that the band bring to their gigs, this is what interested me last time I saw them and why I just had to see them again, sadly they have only announced one UK date so far, but there may be more later on in the year, for now I shall be going to see them at this one, just in case they choose to miss the UK this year.
