Liverpool has a long musical history, but now it has another festival to add to list of musical attractions.
With acoustic music getting more and more popular every day, the fine people at the Unity Theater have decided that last year was about time to put on Liverpool’s first ever acoustic festival, a wonderful two-day celebration of all things acoustic, drawing singers from all over the world.
The event will be Headlined by Grammy, Tony and Olivier winning singer Marketa Irglova, along with over 20 talented bands and artists, each bringing something unique and different to every spare inch of space the Unity has to offer, including sets from LMA Female Artist of the Year, Naralie McCool, Liverpool Acoustic Songwriting Challenge winner Alexandra Jayne and Irish folk duo The Lost Brothers.
This event will be jam-packed with public workshops, songwriting classes, guitar sessions and seminars, along with a whole range of different events to keep you busy between performances and DJ sets, along with a beer tasting brought to you by the good people at the Liverpool Organic Brewery, so now you have another reason to make a trip to the great city on the banks of the Mersey.
