Photography | Pierre Folk – By The Silent Line

Sitting unused in middle of the beautiful metropolis of Paris lays the Chemin de fer Petite Ceinture (French for “little belt railway”), a 32km stretch of railway line that has slowly decayed since become surplus the requirements over 80 years ago.

While the line slowly vanishes under a wave of nature and graffiti, its beauty hasn’t diminished, as shown by the work of french photographer Pierre Folk, who has been documenting the unused line for his series “By the silent line” since 2011.
