The game begins
Directors: Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett
Release Date: September 27th 2019
Plot: For Grace (Weaving), her wedding day should be the happiest day of her life, especially now that shes married into the wealthy Le Domas family, which is why she is all too happy to participate in their traditional wedding night game of hide & seek, unfortunately for Grace, the eccentric family are more than they seem to be and if she is found it could be lethal.
Weddings can be stressful, but once the ceremony is complete and the speeches have been done it’s pretty much smooth sailing right, that is unless you have just married into the rich and powerful games mogul family the La Domas’s, who from what I’ve seen, seem to have something invested in killing the bride on her wedding night, with no one or nothing getting in the way of them accomplishing their goals.
After watching this trailer I for one am extremely excited to see this gory black comedy, with this extreme game of cat and mouse where Grace attempts to survive until dawn, with her in-laws trying their hardest for her not to make it otherwise “something very bad will happen to the family” giving the feeling there might be some sort of pagan ritual at play here.
When will I go see it? Opening Week
