Over the last 100 years, New York’s skyline has grown so dramatically, with skyscrapers springing up in practically every empty space, so local Architectural and environmental photographer Adam Friedberg set out to document all of the single-storey buildings in Manhattan’s Lower East Side neighbourhoods before they are lost forever.
