Travel | Lilleshall Abbey

Founded between 1145 and 1148, Lilleshall Abbey was an Augustinian place of worship near the towns of Newport and Telford Shropshire, England, until its dissolution by Henry VIII in 1538. Severely damaged during the English Civil War, the abbey quickly fell into disrepair. Leaving only a set of beautiful ruins for us to visit for free to this day.
