A film with a modern premise but an old-fashioned, underwhelming execution
Willing to go to places most horror films of the time wouldn’t
Outrageous set pieces and relentless energy
Though flawed, offers a hauntingly beautiful experience.
A film that promises more than it delivers
An enjoyable but flawed creature feature
